    y = (e^3)x + 1

    The inverse is:

    x = (e^3)y + 1

    x - 1 = (e^3)y

    y = (x - 1) / (e^3)

    y = (e^(-3))x - e^(-3)

    Or did you mean:

    y = e^(3x) + 1

    The inverse is:

    x = e^(3y) + 1

    x - 1 = e^(3y)

    3y = x - 1 + 2*i*pi*n, for any integer n

    y = (x - 1 + 2*i*pi*n) / 3, for any integer n

    If x and y are real numbers:

    y = (x - 1) / 3, for any integer n

    y = (1/3)x - (1/3)
