Looting, burning down someones store front, attacking cops, burning their cars, preventing the fire dept from reaching a building they lit on fire, with kids still trapped inside. Actually, you might say that Woodrow Wilson started it. 

When US troops went over to fight in WW I, they discovered that the there was no Jim Crow, the French let them eat in the same restaurants, the French officers spoke to black US soldiers with the same respect that they spoke to white US soldiers. When the army found out about the treatment the French were giving US soldiers, the Army produced a pamphlet, explaining that in America, things were different and that the French should not treat white US soldier the same as black US soldiers. Black soldiers should not be allowed to eat in the same tents as whites (US or French.)
