Why are the BLM protests still going on?

At first I could sympathise. The George Floyd matter was seriously out of order and something needed to be done about it.

But something has been done about it. All of the police officers involved have lost their jobs and have been charged for murder. That's it. Justice has been held. The government did a good job for a change.

So why exactly are people still out there protesting? What are they hoping to achieve?

I'm asking because right now it just seems to me that people are protesting for the sake of protesting. And other people are taking advantage of that to cause destruction to public property, to loot and to attack police officers that have not done anything wrong. I've even witnessed someone hurling a brick at a police horse. It's a horse. An innocent horse.

So rather than make assumptions I figure I'd ask. Why are you all still protesting? What do you want to happen in order to stop protesting? What are you trying to achieve?

Black people want government money and more attention from the government.

Because the BLM still receives paychecks from China Communist Party (CCP), and they have not finish looting the entire USA.

They will say to battle systematic racism but I say no idea and frankly tired of only seeing this in the news.  I am really shocked to see these ppl protesting since we are still in middle of a pandemic with over 111,000 Americans dead and a second wave coming.  They say this is more important but what good are civil rights if you're dead?  Just don't break the law and obey the orders of the police but they can't for some reason.  If all these protesters use their collective energy to battle the Coronavirus we would be back to normal already.

They still have more electronic goods and car show rooms that haven’t been broken into.

Because it is obviously organised by some political left wing movement. Justice has not been done as the police officers have not been reinstated with all charges dropped.

Because nothing changed. Yes some cops were charged, and that's a start but that's all. There is still systemic racism

I wanna know this myself. Btw, weren't the cops released on bail? Was I wrong to think that?
