Why does Washington’s governor and Seattle’s mayor allow gangs to control a several block area of Seattle?

Is not the most fundamental function of government to provide for the rule of law and security of its citizens?

    DNCs are rulers, not government.

They're not gangs, they are protesters. They are peaceful and proving they don't need police.

Because they are working together to try to start a race war.

Governor Inslee and Mayor Durkan recognize the Constitutional right of the protestors to peaceably assemble.

This whole thing would end much more quickly if they cut off the unemployment checks, lifted the ban on evictions and sent people back to work.    If they're all going crowd into the street, they might as well crowd back into their cubicles.

Abandoning the police precinct in the CHAZ was as idiotic decision.   It sounds like the Mayor and the Police Chief are playing whack-a-mole on that one.   It will be interesting to see how that shakes out.

Because they figured it would be less violent than taking it back. In other words, she Surrendered.
