Why are people who know they are stubborn still stubborn?

I am very stubborn about some things. 

It means that I have rules for myself and I follow those rules always. 

Maybe you can't understand that.

It's their way of life.

We can not help them.

This would vary on the job and life they held. 

Also If they believed in God or not?  People that do Believe God have much friendly lives, care far more for others. 

Atheists cannot feel anymore than each of their own Lust for only each of their own wants!n Not caring for others unless its s how that may use or abuse them.

Then some jobs require as you ask. Like officers in the military would need to be so! 

Being stubborn can be a good and bad thing. For example it's a good thing when you refuse to leave someone if they are about to die (like a movie scenario lol). But it's a bad thing like when you try to change your bad habits but your stubborn mind just will not listen.

Maybe because it's a trait of their's and that's just how it is, whether good or bad.
