How is it that God's Word can DEBUNK God's Word e.g. TWO baptisms after the cross (Matt 28:19+; Acts 1:5) but Eph 4:5 says one baptism?

There is currently only one baptism still in effect!

It is the one baptism described and commanded in Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:37-41, Acts 10:47-48, Romans 6:3-18, 1 Peter 3:21, etc.

For the number of baptisms, one must consider the time that is being considered.

The events of Acts 2 happened about 30 AD.  In that chspter, there is the Holy Spirit baptism in verses 1-4, and the baptism that was commanded "in the name of Jesus Christ" in verse 38. 

Likewuse, Holy Spirit baptism happened again in Acts 10, and Peter also commanded baptism in water. This was the last time (of only two times) that Holy Spirit baptism is recorded to have happened.  It's purpose and duration was fulfilled by this time.  This was about 37 AD.

The Book of Ephesians, however, was written about 62 AD.  By that time, there was (and still is) only "one baptism" .  This baptism was the baptism in water. (Ephesians 5:26, 1 Peter 3:21)

When you ask how many baptisms there are, you have to consider what time period is being referenced.  In Acts 2 there was the Holy Spirit baptism and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ.  By the time Ephesians was written, and now, there is only one!  Since Holy Spirit baptism is not referenced after Acts 10 & 11, but baptism in the name of Jesus continued to be commanded and practiced, then the latter is the "one baptism" that continued, and continues today!

 To show how a difference in time can change an answer, consider this.  If you asked someone in 1958 "How many states are there in the United States?", they would answer truthfully "48" !  If you ask someone today, the correct answer would be "50" !  There were two states added in 1959.

If you ask about the number of kinds of baptisms in Acts 2, the correct answer would be "2" .  But after Acts 11, before Ephesians was written, the correct answer would be "One!". 

That one is "the washing of water" (Ephesians 5:26).

If that "proves" a contradiction, then the source is not inspired, but man-made.  If it is inspired, then the explanation is arrived at by exegesis (original intent).  Fortunately the explanation is obvious.  The promised miracle leads to the command, just as the creation of man and woman were a miracle, which leads to biological reproduction.
