Slaves should have NEVER been brought to the United States. Am I right?

Those slave ships should have been turned back to Africa and the passengers released .  

First of all .. there should be no slaves, period.. but that was a long, long time ago.  People thought and acted differently and I guess they thought they were right at that time.  Remember black slaves were sold into slavery by their own people.  No one really thought about the right or wrong of it... it just was.  That is why groups like BLM expecting the people of today to pay for the sins of  a lifetime ago is so wrong.  It is not wrong to protest slavery.. but there is no slavery now.. time to live and let live.  Blacks have got to get over their prejudices and learn to live as just people.. no color!

Many White people were sent to America by the British crown as indentured prisoners to serve their sentence as unpaid labor (Slaves)  in the Crown Colonies. My ancestors came from Scotland to North Carolina in the 1750's following Culloden Moor as such.

That is correct they should not have and that was started under the Dutch then the British.

Once we gained our independence we should have stopped the practice but there was not the political will to do so.

Maybe, just maybe, I know this is very controversial, especially among right wingers, slavery should not have happened. Just a thought.
