Jude wrote, "the faith" (or the system of faith, the gospel) "was once for all delivered..." (Jude 3). How many times is "once"?

Paul wrote, "If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed." (Gal 1:6-9)

Peter wrote that we have been given " all things that pertain to life and godliness"!  (2 Peter 1:3)

Jesus said the Apostles would be guided into "All truth".  (John 16:13). How much is "all"?  How much does that leave for latter revelations?

Paul wrote, "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." ( 2 Timothy 3:16-17)

"All scripture" does not leave any out.  We must consider all the scriptures say.  We must be "rightly handling the word of truth.". Using the scriptures correctly, we will be "complete" ( "thoroughly furnished " KJV).  If the scriptures thoroughly furnish us, do we need any "new revelation" ?

God said "Do not add" to His word!  (Deut 4:2, Deut 12:32, Prob 30:5-6, Rev 22:18-19)

The idea of modern revelations indicates the scriptures, the word of God, are not sufficient.  It indicates that we are not complete using the scriptures as described in Second Timothy, so we need additional revelations to add to the scriptures.

The scriptures given above, and many more, eliminate the need for and possibly of any new revelation!  They indicate that additional revelations are not acceptable to God
