What happens if the county one lived in can't produce your old divorce judgement, and you can't remember the attorney?

You revert to still being married.

Maybe the divorce wasn't final because it wasn't filed.  My ex-husband's divorce from his 1st wife didn't take place because he still owed his attorney money.  The divorce papers were filed, and finalized, when he coughed up the attorney's fees.

So look at your cancelled checks/bank records for his name.  Call every attorney in the city if you have to.

And if it can't be found then, legally, you are still married and might want to file for a divorce.
