Seriously, without the Politics, how is everyone handling the Virus and it's limitations? Do you feel overwhelmed?

It's frustrating to realize how pervasively this virus has affected everyday life and will continue to do so until there is a vaccine. I don't feel overwhelmed but so many areas of operation have to take the virus into account -- travel, shopping, work interactions, family gatherings, meeting friends, eating out, special events, vacations, etc.
Worse yet, we have no competent federal leadership. You can't leave politics out of this.
Trump has downplayed the seriousness of the virus from the beginning and even now is pretending that it doesn't exist. That incompetent, callous attitude has contributed to the deaths of many Americans. This country had sufficient lead time to address the impending pandemic but Trump's inability to deal with reality led the country into this current dire situation.

Fine, so far, but I am going to a picnic for July 4th and am shaky about that. I will wear my security blanket mask most of the time.

I'm currently on lockdown because a family member of mine tested positive for it. I got tested yesterday and I'm suppose to find out by Friday if I can get on with my life. So yeah, it really sucks.
Back in march I was locked down for more than a month, only leaving the house to get groceries. If I find out I'm positive for the virus I will probably lose it.

I own a construction business. Other than a few annoyances getting supplies, for us life has gone on as normal. In fact, we are having our best year ever. We haven't missed a single day of work and the lack of traffic has actually allowed us to get several projects done ahead of time. We choose not to wear masks, but use the same common sense precautions anyone would use any other day. Wash hands, cover our mouths and noses when sneezing or coughing, etc. Not a single person on our crew has gotten sick or had any issues. Again, common sense.

hasn't changed my life much at all.......as I live fairly isolated as it is.
There are plenty of supermarkets nearby.....no shortage of TP----
and I have planted my garden , same as every year.
Life goes on........

I refined my self-entertainment skills at home because I'm here so much more time. I record the number of cases by relevant zip codes around here so I can get a handle on the severity in my vicinity. It's been going down steadily ... about 2 new cases a day now. My community has been setting great examples w/ masks and distancing.

I just wear a mask, keep my distance, use hand sanitizer. I don't feel overwhelmed.

I flew back to CANADA just before XMAS and I didn't leave my property until a few weeks ago. And that was to drive to my neighbors to pick up groceries I'd paid for them to shop for me.

What limitations?
I still go out and do my thing. Social distancing and masks are for loser soyboy beta males.
