what's a good, current, scary movie?

I think the Jordan Peele ones like Get Out and Us are pretty good.

I watched The Boy, but not the sequel. I liked it.

A Quiet Place has a lot of suspense, but I didn’t find it super scary.

The Little Stranger is good too - sort of a gothic suspense. It’s kind of long, but it is fairly creepy.

Netflix has some good ones, but it can be a bit of a toss-up. Either you find one you really like, or it’s so cheesy that you can’t sit through it

Hollywood doesn't make scary movies anymore.  It's all either gore or jump-scares and similar cheap tricks.
