That is because the entire Old Testament is JUDAIC!!!!!!  The prophesy of a Messiah is Judaic and very specific and the Christian justification for it to be Jesus is woefully short of the requirement!  That is why the evangelicals cannot do anything towards converting Jews!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not Christian (I'm Jewish) but I have a few comments:

There is a more basic reason why: Efforts at getting Jews to abandon to own religion and community is considered offensive in of itself. This is even the case for proselytizers for OTHER religions.

Professing Christians are misinterpreting the scriptures as usual. They are supporting a Political nation that as a whole is not the chosen nation of God anymore. The real Israel is the Israel of God made up of Jews and Gentiles.

I think it's pretty acurate.

Apostle Paul says it best that a partial blindness has happened to the Jewish people until the last Gentile comes to know the Lord, then all Israel will be saved.  Scripture says the Jew will cry for Jesus when they see Him coming as they'd cry for an only child.  The God of the Holy Bible has not forgotten the Jewish people.  The Jew is the most persecuted ethnicity and he was persecuted as an example to show all people what happens to a nation that forgets their God.  The persecution of Jews by the Catholic Popes were ignorance by people calling themselves Christians which were not.  The Catholic Church has done many bad things and apostasy abounds in that church today as well as other faiths.

Nowadays I see Christianity as substantially cultural appropriation of Judaism.
