Because good and bad is a matter of perspective, and no one ever thinks they’re the bad guy. The Natzees believed they were the good guys just trying to save their country from the evil Jews too. People also like simple narratives that they can follow easily. For those two reasons, a lot of our leftists today (who run the media for the most part) find it easier to label themselves as good and righteous fighting against evil racists than acknowledge the fact that you can’t easily put people in boxes based on their beliefs and that those simple narratives don’t actually exist.

Trump is promoting racism and hatred by retweeting a video that shows his supporter shouting "White Power." He is calling the Covid-19 virus the Chinese virus and Kung Flu, in order to promote hatred and racism against Asians.  He calls black NFL players who protest inequality and police brutality SOBs.
