Why does the MeToo movement think that women are superior and they can do no wrong?

The MeToo movement does not think that, and has never claimed that.

MeToo is so specific to the media/entertainment industry and the (legitimately bad) way women are treated therein that it really hardly applies to most women.

I have had serious misgivings about this MeToo thing from the start. The women that are complaining have failing or expired careers. They seem to need publicity and money. The offenses were so far in the past, that statute limitations prevent criminal prosecution. An unbiased version of most or the offenses, sounds to  me, like they were trading sex for career help or money, more than being coerced. When they failed to report the transgression at the time, they became complicit, by encouraging the offender to do it again, and again. I don't think any of them were physically forced to do anything. They had the choice of leaving the premises, and chose not to do so. The movie exec, being accused, may be the worst SOB in Hollywood, but his accusers must share an equal part of the guilt, for perpetuating the system.

Making a statement as if it’s the truth won’t make it true, however much you believe it. Sorry. It’s a false assertion.

Always believe women, never believe men. That seems to be their motto.  Sounds sexist to me.

"Why does the MeToo movement think that women are superior and they can do no wrong?"

Never forget that the MeToo movement was hijacked into feminism shortly after its inception.  Once that occurred it went from a legitimate movement regarding rape by men in positions of power, into a full on anti-male movement about "misogyny".

Most notably however, was the quick move by feminists to limit the personal responsibility of their rapist friends in leftist Hollywood and the Democrat party by instead smearing the blame onto ALL MEN, including those that previously supported #MeeToo.

After that, MeToo lost its broad based support.  Most men see it as a weapon of sorts against their normal, heterosexual masculinity, because that's how it has often been used on Twitter where even a bad date gets conflated to the same seriousness as a Harvey Weinstein incident.
