So, were the Jews worshipping Jesus the whole time in the old testament and then rejected him in the new testament. ?

Update:

If Jesus is God then the Jews were worshipping Jesus?

Update 2:

Were they worshipping Jesus without knowing that they were worshipping him?

The Jews were the chosen people of God, chosen for one purpose, to be the people through whom the Messiah, the Savior of humanity, would come into the world. That event occurred 2,000 years ago, at which time great numbers of Jews recognized the Messiah and followed Him, becoming Christians. Some did not the recognize Him, which is why Judaism still exists today, still awaiting the Messiah, which they will be doing until the end of time.

    Its a complicated analysis.

The faithful OT Hebrews worshiped God who promised them a Messiah to save them from Adams condemnation. They had limited knowledge of whom the actual Messiah would be. Their prophets described their Messiah in various terms, but they had no other way to know definitively who Messiah would be. So as long as the BC Jews believed God for his Messiah, God saved them. He judges us where we are in his 7000 year plan of salvation. He cannot hold the OT Jews responsible for NT content. As it turns out, Jesus IS their promised Messiah. And those NT Jews that lived with him were judged for whether they recognized and acknowledged Jesus as Messiah. As with all Jews since then.

So then, Jesus calls his NT Christians the most blessed of all generations for we have the whole picture.

Matthew 13:17 KJV — For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

So we know today that Jesus is Messiah, and that Jesus is God is Jesus. But the OT Jews could not have known that specifically.

That goes to show you that the Trinity doctrine is a false doctrine, it doesn’t make any sense.   It’s all a confusion because it was invented by imperfect men.

Jews didn't worship Jesus in the Old Testament (before Jesus was born).  They did predict the coming of a Messiah, but rejected the notion that the Messiah was Jesus.

No.  In their religion, Jesus is not God.
