    If I could afford it and actually liked/needed the car. I wouldn't be opposed to a cheaper option.

    It’s more than I can afford right now but it doesn’t buy you anything fantastic, fairly average hybrids and EVs are close to this. My last company car was £34k (GBP) /$42k , it was nice but nothing too exciting.

    37k certainly wouldn’t buy anyone’s dream car.
