Why is it such a very, very bad idea to disclose sensitive information about your employer? ?

To this day, I still have issues accepting the fact they fired me because of me mentioning the name of my company and it’s customer to a social Facebook group consisting of some 45,000 members. This is also the same Facebook group I troll by saying things like I support Hitler and so on. This group also has people believing in lie about me being a paedophile which they may have passed onto to my employer.

The group has repeated what YOU said about being a pedophile. No one in the group made that up.  YOU POSTED IT.

YOU also posted you were a resident in a mental health facility.

I wouldn't want your name and my company name to be linked in any way.

For one, it shows a serious lack of good judgement on your part. Employers can be very touchy about their corporate image. Even just mentioning their name in a public forum can get you in trouble.

Yes it's a bad idea & it's a bad idea to keep bringing that bad idea up.
