What is this other hose behind my fridge ?

Just bought a fridge & There's this skinny hose I already connected & I know it belongs there , but this other one I don't even know where to connect it .. I just sticked it on with tape since it's loose , don't even know what to do with it . My old one had the same skinny hose but it didn't have the thicker one on , just 1 hose .. both have ice makers , wondering why my old one didn't have that odd hose . what is it for ? I can't post a pic , idk why , but the hose is not that thick.. one end is already connected to the fridge and the other end has a little brass piece where I think it needs to be twisted and connected to something . I don't even know what it's for . I hope I explained myself good ..

see owner's manual.  it is online if lost, you'll need exact model number

It's probably the ice maker hose.  You don't have to use it - only if you hook up the ice maker.

Could be the condensate little hose from the evaporator.

Somewhere on your fridge there ought to be a sticker wuth the model number.  If you don't have a manual for the fridge google the brand and model number + "manual."  It will probably be on themanufacturer's website.  In that manual there will be illustrations with all the parts.  The hose will be labelled on the illustration.  Look up the name of the part in the manual and it will explain what it's for, if it's optional and how to connect it.
