Few read the articles, just the comments. So no ad revenue. Solution: stop the comments. Duh.

Yahoo only wants their biased fake news to be available on their website. The truth doesn't matter to them.

Yes, indeed, why did Yahoo remove the comments? Any reasonable person would have to wonder because considering that words cannot hurt anyone, why would Yahoo feel the need to stop words that do not support their position? The answer really is quite simple, Yahoo does not really believe their position will survive under the harsh light of public opinion and needs to make sure that only their slanted opinion on every story is the only one heard or seen as the case may be.

Because Yahoo is all about censoring their articles to fit their agenda and to many people in the comments section were calling them out for it.

Probably part of the pre-election purge to make sure their members aren't exposed to any "non-conforming thought." Plenty of groupthink in the articles and you'll be safe from that undesirable independent thought stuff.
