Too busy to text?
Last fall, I was talking to a girl I met at my summer job who swiped me on Tinder, but went to study abroad so it was all text-based. Everything was going well enough, but after a month of slow back and forth I was having to double text, which I did twice before leaving it alone. She claimed she was really busy with 30 college credits and being a tourist. I didn't really believe it so I cut it off, but lately I've been talking to a buddy who is less busy, but is having a hard time responding to our text threads and takes days to do so (partially cause he has made the thread wild long). Can someone genuinely be too busy to text? And if so, would it be at all worth it to try and message this girl again?

You look insecure when you double text and don't pick up on hints. It's not that she's busy, she's just not into you.. Women have their phone's glued to them 24/7. If you're the type of guy that double texts, I can guarantee you have other beta behaviors that turn women off as well. women can sense when you have a scarcity mindset. No woman wants a dude that other women don't want. If you were focused on your purpose/goals in life, you wouldn't be worried about people not texting you back, because you'd be too busy with your life.

No one is too busy to respond to a text. 30 credits over a year is a normal course load. No university would allow a student to do 30 credits in a single semester, you have to get special permission to take more than 5 classes in a semester. There are people that work full time jobs while going to school full time so it is an excuse that she didn't have time. However some people don't like texting. If this girl was into you, she would have made you a priority. Leave it alone. If she reaches back out to you when she is not studying abroad - and chances are she is not any longer due to covid - and you happen to still be single, great. Otherwise move on. Assume when someone doesn't make an effort that they are no longer interested.
