Hardy aquatic plants for freshwater aquarium?

Looking to aquascape a 20 gallon freshwater aquarium and I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations for easy to care for plants that won't dirty up my water.

    All plants will require trimming and care to stay alive and not dirty the water. That said, these have been pretty good plants for me if cared for properly, and they don't do things like shed a lot or melt:

    Very hardy:

    Java Fern

    Anubias species

    Dwarf Lily

    Somewhat hardy, may require fertilizers or special lighting:

    Ludwigia species

    Wisteria

    Hygrophila species

    Dwarf Sagittaria

    Bacopa species

    Since you did not listinfo on lighting or fish or plans to fertilize or add co2 I listed some easy low light plants

    Annubias

    Anacarus

    Moss balls

    Java moss

    x-mas moss

    Jungle val
