Nevaeh, What Do Yall Think Of The Name?

I'm not pregnant, but I really like the name Nevaeh which is heaven spelt backwards. I want to give the name to a future daughter of mine even though I'm not religious.

However, I have seen a few people say it's tacky. So I'm wondering, what do you think of the name?

Personally it’s just an all around ugly name. I don’t think it’s attractive at all & that’s coming from someone who actually is religious.

No your daughter will go to hell if you named her that.

Unattractive and rather silly.  It will also cause major spelling issues for your child. Don't saddle her with a name that she must repeatedly spell for people and that will be misspelled on official papers.

    Yes, I agree, it's tacky.

    It's getting very overused now.

Have you ever considered the name Heavenly?

Heavenly Joy? Heavenly Bliss?  I am not inclined to speak badly of any name and Neavaeh is to you a lovely name but to me it is so over used it is getting sickening to hear it over and over again. So, as kindly and my intention is to be kind is first thing on my mind I suggested the name Heavenly which is, very rarely used to the best of my knowledge.

    It's an awful name

I think Nevaeh is tacky. If heaven is an important concept to you, then name your daughter Heaven. But to take someone else's concept and then trivialize it by spelling it backwards seems disrespectful to me.

Sounds good, but have you considered naming your child Natas as well?

    I think it's a terrible name.
