What happens when you break wind in space?

Update:

Specifically will it act like a rocket and fire you across the ship/space station at high velocity. I have searched the NASA website and can’t find an answer

Well it would fall into the “silent but violent” category , since no one will hear it.

However it will stay in your space suit and the gas will be released around the space station.:

First you wouldn't do it in space because you're in your space suit. You'd just stink up your suit. If for some reason you're not in your suit it doesn't matter because you're about to die.
