Today I got in my car and I heard a single pipe knock sound when I make a left turn. Does anyone know what this may mean ?

Check for loose tie rods or bad ball joints.

Could be the steering system, check the dust keepers of the steering, and when you make that turn, stay there, and look the steering system under the car, it will like there's any problem, then there is a problem, because could be the steering pump

Make more sharp left turns. If it sounds like knuckles on a wooden door, then it it is most likely a Constant Velocity Joint. Take to a mechanic and replace BOTH AXLES. as the other one is old too so about to fail.
