    What is YOUR definition of "socialist" anyway?

    A classes-less economy in which the means of production are owned by local collectives and operated to meet the needs of the people instead of maximising profit, in which people get paid according to their work?

    If you believe in public schools, public roads, public water and sewer systems, public fire and police protection,  medicaid / medicare, then you are a socialist.
