    given

    n = 4.50 moles

    Q = 895 J

    W = 127 J

    a) dU = ?

    use first law of thermodynamics,

    Q = dU + W

    ==> dU = Q - W

    = 895 - 127

    = 768 J <<<<<<<<<<<<<------------Answer

    b) for diatomic gas,

    dU = (5/2)*n*R*dT

    ==>T = (2/5)*dU/(n*R)

    = (2/5)*768/(3*8.314)

    = 12.3 K <<<<<<<<<<<<<------------Answer
