Why when I stop listening to music and take the AirPods out of my ears on my i phone 8 the volume goes down? I have the volume up and then as soon as I get up to do something and take the AirPods out of my ears the volume automatically went down

The phones have seperate volumes for when using headphones or not.
When you take the AirPods out the phone will switch to speak see, so if the volume goes down the your speaker volume is lower than your headphone volume.
