If you think that's a serious possibility, you haven't thought very deeply about the matter. QAnon is clearly somebody who works closely with President Trump, if not President Trump himself.
1) QAnon, whoever he is, has posted pictures from within the oval office and air force one, which do not exist anywhere else online.
2) If QAnon were not Trump or controlled by Trump, Trump couldn't risk allowing a large number of people to believe that he is. Discrediting QAnon would be as simple as sending a simple tweet: "Who is this Q? Never heard of him"
