Could you make something like this fly?
In an upcoming video game, there are drones that look like this. I'm not looking to make something like this, but I was interested if this would be able to fly.

If the curved blades at each side are a kind of spiral fan, then it seems reasonable.
They are curved in opposite directions, so would cancel each others torque.
I doubt it would be as anywhere near as efficient as using more conventional ducted fans or propeller blades, as the big flat areas would have a lot of air resistance & friction for little lift.
But not totally impossible.
