    ((7x^2 + 14x)/5)x + 10

    = 1.4x^3 + 2.8x^2 + 10

    No restrictions.

    Or did you mean:

    ((7x^2 + 14x) / (5x)) + 10

    = 1.4x + 2.8 + 10

    = 1.4x + 12.8

    No restrictions.

    Or did you mean:

    (7x^2 + 14x) / (5x + 10)

    = (7x(x + 2)) / (5(x + 2))

    = (7/5)x

    = 1.4x

    NOTE: x can't be -2

    The original expression=

    7x/5

    provided that x+2=/=0 or

    x=/=-2.

    you forgot the latter.

    Not as shown. learn PEDMAS.

if that is the answer, you have stated the problem incorrectly. It is probably

    (7x^2 +14x)/ (5x+10)

    which is indeed (7/5)x

    (7x^2 + 14x) / (5x + 10)

    = 7x(x + 2) / 5(x + 2)

    = 7x / 5

    Your answer is right.
