do people who were born deaf still hear their thoughts as a voice?

and if they do, are those who gain hearing through coqular implants surprised that it is what talking sounds like?

Update:

im asking if they do, not presuming they do.

Update 2:

No one hears their thoughts. NO ONE.  Your brain communicates your thoughts to you however you communicate. But you don't actually hear them.  If you use sign language you imagine someone signing to you. If you feel pain, you experience the pain and that is translated into the language you understand. But if you are in a foreign country and speak the language fluently, you might "hear" yourself saying your response in the language you are surrounded by. Your brain tricks you into thinking you are hearing.

There have to be better sites for this question.

You assume they hear their thoughts as a voice. Were you born profoundly deaf?

You sound like an idiot; however, if not, here goes. I have a dear friend who is profoundly deaf, and I went with her to the groups and prep for her first implant. People with the implants have to be taught to hear. The implants are a miracle, but they require much dedicated and hard work. The brain does not know what to do with sound; it simply does not recognize sounds. That is as simply as I can put it.
