Why is America such a bible thumping nation?

Whilst the rest of the West was building universities, hospitals, libraries and cathedrals America was at the frontier stage where charlatan preachers took advantage of the gullible. That is why virtually all the creation and intelligent design sects and cults are American showing they are in fact not Christian but Fundamentalists!

This is a nag3ion founded by,  protected and preserved by the ETERNAL GOD with the manifest destiny to BRING FREEDOM'S HOLY LIGHT to all the world.

Early America was primarily settled by protestants, who fled Europe during and after the the thirty year war. It was the christian religion that united many Americans during the tough times of conquest and resettlement of the new world. During the industrial revolution, it was the "protestant work ethic" that made America great. Because of these reasons, and many others, Americans today try to retain their christian heritage.

Jesus exists and is God.  A person can know these things with certainty by way of having true devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Because of the influence of Puritans/Pilgrims that came here fleeing religious persecution in Europe.  But we are not a "Bible thumping" nation now.  Billy Graham once said that he never saw a "Bible belt" but he had seen a lot of "Sin Belts" (something like that.)   A lot of Americans still  call themselves Christians who don't actually believe the Bible. 

Im a Christian even under the worst conditions i forgive there are many Christian here and God loves us 

Step 1: Get everybody to be Christian. 

Step 2: Convince them that Jesus was a billionaire who wants the poor to suffer.

Step 3: Bleed the poor dry

Step 4: Laugh like hell

The US was originally based on religious freedom and values. It was the focus on Christianity that produced freedom and inspired other nations to do so also.

Allot of people today have moved away from religion but the religious values are what make up most of our freedoms and protections. The US was inspired of God.

It really isn't.  Most everyone says they believe, but the reality is you hardly ever actually hear much about it.
