For retirees living in Mexico year round by the beaches. Is it safe or are there tons of gangstyle shootings? Seen on tv many shootings?

Yes, it is safe. As long as you stay at the beaches.. Or have someone familiar with the area drive you around. I love Cancun. Republicans are too poor and stupid to know the luxuries of the beaches in Mexico. They prefer that shithole Florida where they can sleep with their sisters and no one will bat an eye.

It's safe.  We've never had an issue.

It depends if cartels have an interest in the town and start fighting over it, then your in a whole lot of chit very very fast

Living in the shiithole that is Mexico is a calculated risk not worth taking.
