I have had the  Covid 19, I  survived, which  hopefully  means that my  Immune  system is  strong  enough to  cope  if  I get it  again? I think being  aware and taking  sensible  precautions is a better response than  being  afraid. Face  masks, regular  hand  washing  and  social  distancing  will all help.

the media reminds me of every day.

Yeah, but of all fears I have it is the only one that the media reminds me of every day.

I'm not downplaying the idea since I actually knew two people who are no longer with us because of it... but it is a unique fear.

I've had a severe flu several times in my life - once as a kid so severe that I started to hallucinate and think spiders were crawling all over me (This was in South Korea when I ingested contaminated well water)... but I was never warned about it so I just had to face it as-is.

I guess it's that sorta thing were... you flinch so severely when you see something coming vs. absorbing an impact more gracefully if you totally didn't know it was about to happen?

    So difficult to say.

At my age, no. I won’t die from it. I would have it for a short while then eventually feel better. But I do still wear a mask out in public, only because it’s required. If I still had the choice of not wearing one, I wouldn’t wear it at all.
