Why shouldnt Democrats expand the Supreme Court with judges like Ginsburg?
If a proper, liberal Supreme Court oversaw elections Republicans wouldnt even be able to get reelected to change it back.

We need to set limits on being a justice (not just Supreme Court, but any currently lifetime justice appointment). 9 years ought to be long enough. A person can get nominated and appointed again, but this lifetime nonsense needs to end. No need to expand the court at that point. Hell, we could even drop it back to 7 or 5 members, like it was originally.

It would never get past the Senate.
The Constitution does not stipulate the number of Supreme Court Justices; the number is set instead by Congress. There have been as few as six, but since 1869 there have been nine Justices, including one Chief Justice.
