do they use buzzers (horn in volleyball)?

    It depends on the facility a volleyball match is played in; when there is a horn that can be used with an electronic scoreboard, it is used to signal beginning and end of team warmup periods, beginning and end of timeouts, end of sets and beginning of next sets. When there is no horn or buzzer at the facility, then these events are signalled by a referee's whistle.
