Simple time problem can anyone solve it?

I'm travelling a distance of 82.2km in 1 h 26 min, what's my speed?

I need to arrive there before 5:20pm, what time should I start? Note: I need an exact time not an exaggerated time.

    5:20 -1:26 = 3:54

    start at 3:54 pm.

    82.2 km / 86 min

    82.2*60/86=57.35 kmph

You went 411/5 km in 43/30 hours.

Your speed is the distance you travel in 1 hour, so that would be

    411/5 * 30/43 so the exact answer is 2466/43 km/hr

A decimal approximation of that is 57.3488 km/hour

If you are happy with 5:19 pm as arriving there just before 5:20pm, then

leave at 3:53 pm as the other post said.

To check that this works, split the time as 1 hour 7 mins + extra 19 mins

    3:53 + 7 mins is 4 pm. 4 pm + 19 mins is 4:19, (1 min early).

    82.2/(1 + 26/60)≈ 57.3488372... km/h

    3:53 pm
