Can I take another excedrine?

I took two excedrine migraine pills earlier for my headache but it didnt help because i think the pain is coming from an issue with one of my teeth im having. The pain is really bad and i was wondering if it would be okay to take an Excedrine extra strength even thought it says on the migraine bottle to only take 2 in 24 hours.

should i just wait til tomorrow to take something?

Excedrin migraine contains exactly the same ingredients as Excedrin extra strength but you can take Excedrin extra strength every 6 hours. Go figure! If it's been 6 hours knock yourself out and take 2 more as it will do absolutely no harm. Also, for future reference all these tablets contain per tablet is 250mg acetaminophen, 250mg aspirin and 65mg caffeine. You can save so much money by buying the cheapest store brand acetaminophen and aspirin and drink a cup of tea or coffee to get the caffeine in board. You're simply paying for the brand name, there's nothing magical about these more expensive OTC meds. Also, as these painkillers contain aspirin DO NOT take ibuprofen at the same time as the OP advised as they're both NSAIDs and cannot safely be taken together.

Talk to a pharmacist about possibly taking an ibuprofin for the tooth.

One of the drugs in excedrine can cause liver damage at very low dosages. Never take more than recommended.

How about talking with a pharmacist at the local pharmacy.  (Cvs tends to be 24/7.)
