Is my EBike legal if it goes up to 25 mph ?

    In the UK anything over 250W is considered an electric motorbike and needs tax and insurance.

    Your state, their rules.  That is not WORLD rules.  So find out there at DMV and then you know.

    Not according to the laws where I live.

    If it can exceed 20 MPH under its own power, it is considered a motorcycle and must be plated, insured, and operated by a rider with a motorcycle licence.  It can also only operate on the road, not a bicycle path/lane

    Not here in the UK, but I believe the rules are different in America and other countries.

    Here, road going e-bikes are legally restricted to 15.5 mph, but off-road bikes are exempt and must not be ridden on the road.
