    Around here ,most people say hello, hi or alright mate, hows it going. Some are not as friendly which is their loss .

    in the local area  i do always if they look at me , people seem friendlier  there ..in the city no one cares

    Where I’m from, nearly everyone is friendly like that, around here, it’s not as likely especially on urban streets. Still, in the nicer neighborhoods and on hiking trails, most people give at least a smile/acknowledgement. 

    It’s been programmed into me growing where I did, so I usually say something, sometimes I get ignored, pssh, stuck ups lol

    Yes.  Before masks were mandatory, people often smiled and talked to me.
