a silver fox is a color morph of the red fox, so in terms of body size and shape, they're the same as a red fox. their fur is a dark grey, nearly black on the legs and tail, but their tail is still tipped white. a grey fox is an entirely different species smaller than a red fox. they have light grey fur with a dark stripe down their tail and patches of a rusty orange color too, not too different from a coyote's coloring

Grey fox is a species found in north America and it can climb trees. The grey fox is not often seen and it is light grey in color. The silver fox is a color variety of the species known as the red fox. The silver fox is dark grey in color, almost black.
