we'll live to fight another day.
after 4 games we haven't done too bad mind you. 3 wins out of 4 matches is 9 points from possible 12.
the season is a long one, we look forward to Aston Villa come to Anfield next year. Expect to see a response, or expect to see a shock result and another defeat who knows what to expect this season could be the weirdest and most surprising one yet.
what if , and man this would be troubling, but what if Everton clinch the title this season ? what if Arsenal win the league by just getting over the finishing line and winning it on goal difference and on 78 points ?
we could have a season where 6 or 7 clubs are all stuck together in a pack out of which anybody can win it, maybe a situation where nobody seems to gather any momentum to 'pull away' from the rest, bit like last seasons top 4 battle when nobody was assertively making a top 4 theirs. What if out of 7 teams an unlikely contender emerges and ends up going on the best finish to the season to spring board to the top on final day of the season ? what if that was Spurs or Everton or Arsenal ?
i think this season the title will NOT be won by 90 or more points.
The winner of the league will have 80 to 85 points max and that will be quite high.
no more showing off or arrogance for at least af ew weeks.
lets see whos sitting top on Christmas day.
then if its us, I will simply be happy about it but wont get arrogant ^_^
