Islam is the only religion of GOD , send down for all mankind ,from the beginning till the end of the world , so around 900 BC.to 500 BC. there would be the teaching of the prophets of GOD , called, Ilyas, Al Yaza ,Zul Qifri ,Yonah and Zakariya.

As a Maya you'd believe you lived in the center of the world. You'd worship your ancestors especially the great male ones and have a home shrine to them. You'd ask them to intercede for you with the gods. You'd believe the world was full of supernatural spirits and many many gods. That the many gods were some how ordered by watching the stars (astronomy) and keeping a calendar. That your king and chief priests were the gods reps on earth. That human blood nourished the gods, so you'd practice self harm for blood letting and believe in human sacrifice and death by torture to get blood to feed the gods. If you were a young male or warrior you might believe in the feathered serpent god Kukulcan as war god.

That all depends-- would I be a Nephite or a Lamanite?
