Is a company in pretty good financial health if its total cash per share exceeds its stock price?

    I was thinking the same thing as Slumlord -- if the stock price is less than total cash per share, then something is probably very wrong.

    Using my often contratian view of life, I'd say it must be in terrible condition. If it has that much cash but its stock price is still that low then there is something really, really wrong with it - like it has to much debt or its business is quickly failing or it cooked the books or has a billion dollar lawsuit hanging over its head.
