DOES current political debate cause more harm than good?

When you ask a man to debate against a condescending b i t c h, then accuse him of "mansplaining" when he does, I'd say it certainly isn't helping.

How would anybody know?  There isn't any current political debate.  That would require unbiased moderators, require answers that are on-topic, require respectful back and forth dialogue and moderators that are more interested in managing the process versus being part of the dialogue.   Won't happen as that would be boring television.    

Depends. Is there an objective concept of good? 

The Left's version of debate is destruction and hatred.
