what is your favoirt bible story?

As an atheist, I like the story of The Good Samaritan.   Here was a guy who came across someone in need of help and took it upon himself to give a suffering fellow human being care and protection for no other reason than it was the right thing to do.

  Now remember, Jesus told this story so there is no way he could have been a Christian because Christianity had not been invented yet.

   The Samaritan did what was necessary to help his fellow man without the hopes of some divine reward or recognition of his good deeds as a ticket to heaven.  He just did what was right because it was right.

   The moral to the story is....If the only thing keeping a person decent is the expectation of some divine reward, then that person is a piece of sh*t.

I wouldn't call them stories because that sounds like events in the Bible are make believe.One of my favorite lessons is the life of Job.He went thru numerous trials,one right after another one but he never lost his faith in God.God blessed him with even more.The lesson for me is to continue to put my complete faith and trust in Jehovah God and he will take care of me.

Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21.

The one where people are put in prison for not spelling simple words correctly.

Well since i have read the entire Bible over 80 times, i would have to say:

All of it.

The part where Onan is smited by God for not ejaculating inside his sister-in-law. 

I don't read fiction.

The one where Luke finds out Vader is his father.
