CNN and Fox news give opposite/different info when reporting on the same news item. Which is true? ?

Well, you are going to have to make that judgement.  It is possible that neither is truth.  The usual way to confirm or refute is to go right to the source and see it for yourself (investigate on your own and stop taking the word of someone else).  We do have a ton of video of people saying and doing the things being discussed, and pretty well all the news is based on some official statement or report, somewhere, eventually.

Too much work for you?  Well, tough.  No one promised you it would always be easy.  If someone did, they lied.
