Have online "news" gone off the deep end?

Yep, the TV and mainstream news and social media have created their own little bubble world which is completely removed from reality where the mean old white people, Christians, and anyone who generally doesn't despise their own country are literal nazis led by the fuhrer Trump and plan to genocide blacks and gays.

This surprises you?   People in general have less common sense today than at any time I can think of.  Kardashians are famous because of social media, so what does that tell you of its "news value"?   The loudest people in the room are controlling the conversation, usually by shouting and not by reason.  They will paint a fur coat (which is a criminal act) because they don't like that some people disagree with their stance on fur.  The urge justice for George Floyd.  The offending police officer is arrested and will stand trial, but they still burn down cities.  What kind of justice did they want?  People will live down to your lowest expectation of them and as we demand less of people, we get less.  That's why the socialists will eventually win, bankrupt us, and make the dumb people wish they had thought things through more clearly.
