If you were stuck in a fire and a firefighter was sent to save you, would you rather him be a believer or an Atheist who believes YOLO?
An Atheist would probably analyze the dangers and decide saving your life is not worth risking his life, meanwhile you'll slowly turn into hamburger. While the believer will pray to God and the power of the lord would fill his heart and he will throw himself inside the flames not caring about anything because the power of the Lord lifts his spirit higher than the clouds. And he will carry you and save you from hell. Thus is the fate of believers as opposed to Atheists.

It is funny how you people think all atheists are bad people while all religious people are good people. I would rather the atheist save me because the religious person thinks without god, they are nothing. That is a sad way to think.

Actual practice, and close-up personal involvement showed that the Atheist did his job, while the believer prayed for both of us. Never trust religious people.

Atheists risk their lives for others all the time. Why do Christians spread endless malicious lies about atheists? Is their hate that overwhelming, or are they just nasty because they think it's fun?

I don't care what he believes. If he is there to save me, then his beliefs are irrelevant.
A person, regardless of their beliefs about God, would not become a firefighter if they were not ready to risk their lives to save others.
Your scenario is biased and invalid.

I would rather have an atheist,
who wouldn't waste a minute
to say a prayer, before rushing in, to save me,
and who has not spent a lifetime
thinking selfish thoughts
about their own hypothetical, infinite,
afterlife reward or punishment,
or about how this fire
might be some imagined God,
punishing me,
for my supposed sins.
Atheist minds are not so cluttered
with such hypothetical, conflicting thoughts.
There is only here and now,
and a task at hand.

The atheist is a firefighter because he or she is doing what they believe to be right and god. The Christian would leave you to burn, then pray for forgiveness and never give it a second thought.

An atheist would have to see the fire themselves, meanwhile the Christian will come whether he sees it or not.
