Is buying Ford automobiles really supporting Mexico's economy and buying GM supporting China's economy?

Since Ford has moved their manufacturing to Mexico and is investing their business in Mexico. GM has done the same except they moved their manufacturing to China. Is buying these "American cars" really buying from Mexico and China?. Toyota was invented in Japan but their manufacturing is here in the U.S..

There's no such thing as "American made" anymore (and it's debatable if there ever was). Besides that, the modern car industry is a complete scam. New cars aren't worth anywhere near what they're sold for, and this is proven when they lose half their value after simply being driven off the lot. Also, the more computerized features and "smart" bullsh!t they add to new models, the more things that can go wrong, and the harder it is to fix, because the companies would rather have you buy a new car every 2 years than sell you something built to last. Plus, they're probably constantly pinging your GPS location and selling your data to the Chinese, because privacy laws in America are a joke.

Sorry for the rant, but what I'm saying is, get yourself an old vehicle that's all mechanical and easy to work on. Putting in some honest work will save you thousands.

Ford is American and they never moved. They were planning to move in 2017 but I think they canceled it after President Trump criticized them
